American Flooring Dewitt opened in October 2020 as another location in the American Flooring Okemos family. The owners of American Flooring, Ed & Yvonne Weaver realized the Dewitt Community held the same values of family, friendship, and good will towards all, that is ingrained in everyone who works at American Flooring. They saw an opportunity to better serve Dewitt and the surrounding communities by opening a store in Dewitt.  Their son, Ryan Weaver, who recently graduated from college, was ready to take on more responsibility as the new Dewitt Sales Manager, so the Dewitt Store came to be. Ryan Weaver has been working in the flooring industry since he was 16 years old, learning all aspects of flooring, from installation, supply, product knowledge, sales, and now, management. Ryan graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor Degree in Business with honors that he completed in only 3.5 years. He completed his degree while working full time and playing Junior A Hockey for the Lansing Wolves! Ryan’s hard work, success, determination, is the embodiment of the Entrepreneurial Spirt. To show our commitment to the Dewitt Community starting this school year, American Flooring will be awarding one Dewitt graduating Senior a $5000.00 American Flooring Entrepreneurial Scholarship.
